When Durant is on the court, the Suns are unstoppable. Expect a slow tempo as both teams play back-to-back games, but the Clippers will benefit from playing at home.

Phoenix, on the other hand, will likely win the close game because they are determined to make a run at the Clippers.

Due to financial difficulties, the Latics began the season with minus eight points and now sit in 17th place in the table with 27 points from their 25 league games.

It will require work in the second half of the season to put Shaun Maloney’s team, who were demoted from the Championship the previous season, in the running for promotion. They are now four points above the relegation zone in League One and thirteen points out of the playoff spots.

Wigan, who have defeated York City and Exeter City in the FA Cup this season, last faced Man United in the competition’s fourth round in January 2017, losing 4-0 to the Red Devils. In fact, Wigan has lost three of their previous four meetings with the 20-time English champions by that same score.

The team’s only victory over Man United came in the Premier League, where they defeated them 1-0 at home in April 2012. However, it’s safe to say that both teams have undergone significant change since then, and Wigan has recently won the FA Cup, taking home the trophy after defeating Man City 1-0 in the championship game in 2012–13.

Only Arsenal (14) has won the FA Cup more frequently than Man United (12). The Red Devils’ most recent victory came in 2016, when they defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 in the championship game.

Erik ten Hag’s team made it to the competition final the previous season, but they lost 2-1 to Man City. This tournament is their best realistic chance to take home a trophy in 2023–24.

The 20-time English champions come into this game coming off a 2-1 Premier League loss to Nottingham Forest. It was their 14th loss overall this season, and it dropped them to eighth place in the standings, nine points behind fourth-place Arsenal.
