Watch Luton Town vs Manchester United Live

Manchester United aim to strengthen their pursuit of a top-four spot in the Premier League as they face Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Sunday. Luton Town, facing a challenging three-game run in their battle against relegation, will provide a stern test.

Erik ten Hag’s team enhanced their slim chances of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Aston Villa. This victory, sealed by Scott McTominay’s late goal on Matchday 24, brought them within five points of Unai Emery’s side and six points behind fourth-placed Tottenham. Rasmus Højlund, United’s young talent, could set a record as the youngest player to score in six consecutive Premier League games if he finds the net against Luton, surpassing Joe Willock of Newcastle United.

McTominay has been instrumental for United this season, scoring seven Premier League goals, the highest among his teammates. Notably, four of these goals came as a substitute, equalling the highest tally by any player in the league this season alongside Brighton’s João Pedro. His goals have earned United 12 points, the most by any player for any team this season. Although he has only scored in five games this campaign, three of those goals secured victory for his team.
