Watch Chelsea vs Leeds Live

Despite their recent setback, Chelsea’s opponents, Leeds United, are coming off a confidence-boosting 3-1 victory over Championship leaders Leicester City, orchestrated by their manager, Daniel Farke.

Facing a depleted Liverpool squad in the EFL Cup final, Chelsea had an opportunity to secure their first English trophy under manager Mauricio Pochettino. However, despite Liverpool’s injury woes, Chelsea struggled to assert themselves and ultimately lost 1-0 in extra time, with Virgil van Dijk’s header sealing the victory for Liverpool.

Despite this setback, Pochettino still has a chance to clinch his first major title in English football with the FA Cup. Chelsea has shown promise in the competition, defeating Preston North End 4-0 in the first round and impressively overcoming Aston Villa in the fourth round replay.

Chelsea’s recent form in the FA Cup has been solid, having progressed past the fifth round in six of the last eight seasons and boasting an impressive record of 13 wins in their last 15 matches at this stage.

However, Chelsea’s morale might still be affected by their EFL Cup final defeat as they prepare to face Leeds United. Additionally, their recent home form has been less than stellar, with two consecutive winless matches following seven straight victories from December to January.
